Wild Hearts has finally launched, and while plenty of people are getting stuck into some monster slaying action on consoles, those who've picked the game up on PC are less than impressed. It was reported a few days ago during the game's Early Access period that Wild Hearts was suffering from some performance-related issues that were affected the game in noticeable ways.
Wild Hearts developer Omega Force has responded to those concerned about the game's performance on PC, explaining that a CPU bottleneck is the cause of the issue and will be fixed soon. That hasn't stopped players from heading to the game's Steam page to leave a negative review though. Despite the game reviewing fairly well across a range of outlets, Wild Hearts' user reviews on Steam currently sit at Mostly Negative, with many of them pointing to the game's performance issues as the cause.

Many are claiming the game is close to unplayable at the moment, urging those with an interest in the game to wait until the upcoming patch fixes the CPU bottleneck. Some are saying the game won't even launch when they try to boot it up, while there are some that say they are enjoying the title, but are using it to make a statement about games launching in a bad way.
Personally, it feels a little harsh to almost irreparably damage a game's user review score over something that was a known issue before release and will be fixed in under a week.
