One popular Elden Ring mod is named Elden Ring Item and Enemy Randomizer, perfect for creating an entirely fresh and surprising experience every time a player starts a new game. But this mod's utility goes far beyond just creating a randomizer. YouTuber Bushy showed just what can be done with the randomizer mod. Specifically, he took out the randomization and used the mod's tech to replace Elden Ring's entire enemy population with a single enemy type of boss.

Fans of Elden Ring likely already know where this is going. Bushy used the randomizer mod to replace every single Elden Ring enemy with Malenia, the RPG's most notorious boss. Elden Ring's basic enemies were all replaced by Malenia. Elden Ring's bosses were all replaced by Malenia. Even Elden Ring's animals were all replaced by Malenia. Only NPCs and certain unusual enemy encounters were left unchanged. Bushy then played through the game, completing it by fighting the traditional Malenia boss fight under the Haligtree. It took over 8 hours.
