Warning! Spoilers ahead for Young Sheldon's 100th episode.
Co-creator Steve Molaro explains why Young Sheldon's 100th episode barely had any references to The Big Bang Theory. In its first two years, it aired back-to-back with its parent series. But since 2019,Young Sheldon has been standing on its own and succeeding at that, considering that it has become the network's number one comedy.
