The latest episode of The Family Chantel season 4 saw Winter Everett traveling to Mexico for her bariatric surgery, which left some fans confused. The Atlanta-based beauty had reached over 300 pounds before deciding to surgically reduce her stomach on the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off show. Winter traveled to Tijuana, Mexico, with her mother, Karen Everett, and her older sister, Chantel Jimeno, for the bariatric surgery. She said that she was watching TikTok videos after her breakup with her long-term boyfriend Jah. This led to her seeing a woman named The Weight Loss Barbie who had a bariatric sleeve and shared her results online. After being inspired by the video to finally get the surgery, Winter decided to go to Tijuana for the procedure. Her mother, and Chantel, who is a registered nurse, then decided to accompany her for the life-altering procedure during The Family Chantel season 4.
