Winter Everett’s weight loss on the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off The Family Chantel is appreciated by her fanbase, the «butterfly babes,» who’ve been tracking it from her before and after transformation pics. Winter debuted with her older sister Chantel Jimeno, and Chantel’s then-boyfriend Pedro Jimeno, on 90 Day Fiancé season 4. Their popularity led to the family getting its own show, which is doing much better right now than the franchise’s OG, 90DF season 9, which is currently airing. In part, The Family Chantel does owe its success to Winter’s jaw-dropping weight loss makeover, as well as the divorce rumors between sister Chantel and Pedro.
The Family Chantel premiered in July 2019, and follows Chantel and Pedro’s married life, as well as the lives of their family members. As of today, the show's fourth season appears to be getting a reaction for documenting Winter’s gastric sleeve procedure. Since she wanted to lose weight for a long time, Winter decided to travel to Mexico for her bariatric operation. It’s the same place in Tijuana where TikTok star Kayla Lavende got her weight loss surgery, in a bid to lose 90 kg, so she could look like her favorite doll.
