Warning: SPOILERS for Moon Knight episode 3
Marvel dedicated Moon Knight episode 3 to Gaspard Ulliel, the talented actor who played Anton Mogart in the episode. The third episode of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series moves Marc Spector's adventures to Egypt, where Oscar Isaac's hero and Layla (May Calamawy) attempt to learn the location of Ammit's tomb. It is through this story that Moon Knight episode 3 features the debut of Gaspard Ulliel as Anton Mogart, a character from the comics also known as Midnight Man.
Gaspard Ulliel's Anton Mogart doesn't appear until midway through the episode, as he is an old contact of Layla's from their prior adventure in Madripoor. The mention of the fictional island of Madripoor is one of the only MCU references that Moon Knight has included to this point, as the Marvel Studios production has also opted to not include any post-credits scenes in the first half of the season. However, Moon Knight episode 3 does include something in its credits. A title card appears that says this episode was dedicated to Gaspard Ulliel following his MCU debut.

The reason that Moon Knight episode 3 is dedicated to Gaspard Ulliel is that the actor died after filming his role as Anton Mogart. The French actor passed away on January 19, 2022. He was 37 years old. Gaspard Ulliel died following a ski accident in the French Alps that occurred the day before. Ulliel crashed into a fellow skier and suffered serious brain trauma from the collision. Since Moon Knight episode 3 is his first MCU appearance and one of his final on-screen appearances, Marvel Studios dedicated the episode to the talented and award-winning actor.
