The Encanto filmmakers have answered several questions about the movie, but there's a reason one Easter egg must remain mysterious. The filmmakers behind Encanto, particularly director Jared Bush, regularly interact with fans online, answering various mysteries about the movie. For instance, Bush revealed to fans that the magic candle in Encanto is the same candle from Pedro and Alma's (María Cecilia Botero and Olga Merediz) wedding. Additionally, Lin-Manuel Miranda, who created the film's hit songs, has revealed there were originally several alternate names for John Leguizamo's Bruno in the movie.
Encanto continues to be an unprecedented success at Disney. The film is the fastest title to reach 200 million streaming hours on Disney+, and it's even headed back to theaters to find new audiences ahead of the 2022 Oscars. In addition to the film's streaming success, the movie's soundtrack also became a hit for the studio. Though fans first assumed the figure was Bruno, Camilo (Rhenzy Feliz) has shapeshifting powers, making him a possibility as well.
