Although they lean on heavy speculation, Twitter user BaizhuMains theorizes that Baizhu may be the first playable character to die in. With his illness, and character themes revolving around the concepts of life and death, Baizhu, already seems like a likely character in the game who could die in terms of lore.

While it isn't likely that it will be a permanent change if he dies, it may be a very shocking and interesting twist for characters and story, similar to Signora's death.

Despite his illness being seemingly fatal, due to his constant search for immortality, and making sense in terms of story, Baizhu's death would be a very poor business decision for the game. If Baizhu's death were permanent, the character
