The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer ends with a tease of someone taking up the mantle, but who is the new Black Panther? After the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman in 2020, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is aiming to continue the legacy of both the actor and the character he so wonderfully brought to life, T'Challa aka Black Panther. The Black Panther 2 trailer is an emotional tease of what's to expect, showing that the loss of Boseman will very much be felt onscreen and in-universe as Wakanda mourns T'Challa. At the same time, the nation also has to deal with an emerging new threat in the form of Namor, with the trailer setting up a war between Wakanda and Atlantis, as had been previously speculated. With this powerful new enemy, Wakanda will need its Black Panther, which the trailer sets up.
