The Wheel of Time season 2 will explore Liandrin's dark side, according to star Kate Fleetwood. Based on Robert Jordan's massive high-fantasy series of the same name which consists of 17 total installments, The Wheel of Time premiered on Amazon Prime Video on November 19 of last year and wrapped its first season the following month on December 24. Several months before the premiere, Amazon showed tremendous confidence in their adaptation by renewing The Wheel of Time for a second season.
Rosamund Pike leads the show's cast as Moiraine Damodred, a member of the Aes Sedai, a powerful organization of women with the ability to channel the One Power. With the help of her Warder and companion, al'Lan Mandragoran (Daniel Henney), The Wheel of Time follows Moiraine as she searches for the reincarnation of the Dragon, a powerful channeler prophesied to be responsible for the Breaking of the World and its best chance to defeat the evil known as the Dark One. Liandrin Guirale, another member of the Aes Sedai, is one of the first possible antagonists introduced in the show.
