Bachelorette Michelle Young Says If She Would Do Dancing With The Stars
Michelle Young, star of The Bachelorette season 18, recently revealed if she would ever join the cast of Dancing With The Stars. Michelle, a 28-year-old teacher from Minnesota, was the runner-up on Matt James' season of The Bachelor in 2021. Later that year, Michelle became the star of The Bachelorette, and got engaged to Nayte Olukoya on her season finale. They had an immediate connection and fell madly in love with each other.
Michelle would not be the first member of Bachelor Nation to appear on Dancing With The Stars. Some of the Bachelor franchise contestants even had great success on the show. Fan favorites Melissa Rycroft, Hannah Brown, and Kaitlyn Bristowe won their seasons of the show. Other Bachelor Nation stars who danced in the ballroom were Trista Sutter, Jake Pavelka, Sean Lowe, Chris Soules, Nick Viall, Joe Amabile, and Matt James.

On the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, which Michelle now co-hosts with former lead Becca Kufrin, Michelle revealed that she would definitely join the cast of Dancing With The Stars if she were asked. Becca pointed out that Michelle is a great dancer based on the TikTok videos that she has been posting, and asked her if she would say yes to the show. Michelle said, «Yeah, I feel like I would.» She shared that she has spoken to a few of the leads who have done it, and she has heard that it is a lot of work, really strenuous, and a lot of pressure, but she feels that sometimes she thrives in those situations because they remind her of her days when she played basketball as a college athlete.
