Thinking of where the next Pokemon Legends: Arceus game goes is becoming more and more of a pastime since its launch. While new DLC for Pokemon Legends: Arceus is expected in April, the idea of another game in the subseries is even more tantalizing. It has yet to be confirmed, but with its success, it definitely seems like it will happen eventually.
Whether the next game goes back to Kanto/Johto in a Pokemon Legends game or continues on from Gen 4 to Gen 5’s Unova, imagining how this formula could be applied to new areas and new Pokemon is unique. For Kalos, it may seem more straightforward, but it has a lot of options.

Pokemon X and Y are arguably some of the darkest games in the franchise, as it refers back to an ancient war and a powerful weapon that used the life force of Pokemon to fuel. A former king of Kalos, AZ, who invented this weapon, paid a price far too high for all of this. So, with all of this happening around 3,000 years ago, when it is set could be tied to this war. No matter what, assuming Xerneas and Yveltal play a major role in the plot, it could add new context to that war.
Again, depending on how far back in the past it is, there are plenty of areas that could use Pokemon Legends’ approach to «remaking.» The Pokemon village, the Poke Ball factory (perhaps less of a factory at the time), Snowbelle City, Azure Bay, the various caves, Anistar City, the huge Pokemon League, and far more. HowPokemon Legends would redo these areas, as well as make them more antique and open, would be fun to see, but overall, the general landscape may be very similar to Hisui in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
