An anime games insider has claimed that Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 5 is currently in development and might be revealed later this year.
Although anime games have been thriving over the past few years with releases like Dragon Ball FighterZ and Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles, it's been some time since we've seen something new from Naruto. Instead of a new game, Bandai Namco has instead been supporting Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker with post-launch DLC since 2018.

That looks like it might be changing in the near future, though. YouTuber and anime gaming insider Senju in Japan uploaded a new video yesterday that claimed that a new Naruto game was in development at Bandai Namco and that it's the next entry in the Storm series. He didn't reveal too many details about the game, simply revealing that he's heard that it's been in development for the past year, that he knows a lot of details about it that he'll be revealing in the future, and that it's possibly being announced by the end of the year.
Senju in Japan also noted that, although the Naruto game in development is the next game in the Storm series, it might not be called Ultimate Ninja Storm 5 and might instead be named after Boruto. Considering how Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 ended, it's presumed that it'll focus on the ongoing Boruto anime and manga series, possibly taking place after the Boruto DLC for Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 and focusing on the next generation of Naruto characters.
Although Senju in Japan doesn't give too many details about the next Naruto game, he's previously extensively reported on other anime fighting games, such as reporting on characters and features coming to Demon Slayer:
