As Pokémon Legends: Arceus players survey Hisui on their quest to catch every Pokémon in the region, they’ll encounter 107 Wisps hidden throughout each area as part of the “Eerie Apparitions in the Night” Request. This Request is one of the most involved tasks for trainers to take on, requiring them to explore every nook and cranny of the Hisui region, but finding every Wisp will allow them to encounter a rare Pokémon to fill their Pokédex. Wisps are hovering balls of purple flame that glow brightly in the dark and only appear at night, so players can spot them from a distance while exploring after sundown in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
After calming Lord Kleavor and returning to their lodgings in Jubilife Village, trainers will be stopped by an NPC named Vessa, who will ask for their help to seal away an ancient evil. She’ll give them an Odd Keystone and ask them to find all 107 Wisps in Legends: Arceus before pointing them toward the first one, which is hovering by a tree near the river. Vessa doesn’t explain much about her Request or the ancient evil that apparently poses a major threat to Hisui, but she can be found by the river any time players want to check their progress.

There are 20 Wisps in each major area of Pokémon Legends: Arceus and the last 7 can be found in Jubilife Village. Using flying mount Hisuian Braviary to search for Wisps from above can make tracking them down much easier, but some of these mysterious flames are tucked away in caves and crevices and require a bit more exploration to discover.
