A new video all about InKonbini has made its way online via a recent Day of the Devs presentation, and for fans of cosy sims, it's looking extremely promising.
If you missed it when it was announced earlier in the year, InKonbini is a slice-of-life shopkeeping sim based on konbini — small convenience stores found in Japan.
As outlined in this new video from developer Nagai Industries, you play as Makoto Hayakawa, a girl who helps run a konbini in a small town in the 1990s.
While the game features workplace sim-like elements, like stacking shelves and selling goods to customers, it has a more interpersonal slant to it. Patrons coming into the store all have unique tastes, habits, and products they want, and you'll learn their stories as you discover more about them.
It looks lovely — we have high hopes for this one when it arrives on PS5. There's no date yet, but you can wishlist it now.

I did not enjoy listening to him drinking at the end
If this was made in the states you’d be clearing shelf
I'd heard about this ages ago but completely forgot about it. I think I'll be playing this when it releases.
