With mere days separating us from the official launch of Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2, Saber Interactive has now shared with the community a detailed post-launch roadmap that covers a full year of support.
Season 1 will include some free updates, such as support for Ultrawide displays, Private PvE lobbies, and a Sparring Arena to be added in the Battle Barge. Meanwhile, Season Pass owners will get the Ultramarines Cosmetic Pack.
In Season 2, slated to go live around the end of October, the developers will introduce new PvE missions, a new enemy, a new Lethal difficulty, and a new weapon (the Neo-Volkite pistol). Those who bought the Season Pass are receiving a Champion Pack, a Cosmetic Pack, and a Weapon Skin Pack themed around the Dark Angeles. In Season 3, which launches in early 2025, Saber plans to add a new PvE missions, a new PvP game mode, new PvP arenas, a new enemy, PvE Prestige ranks, and an expansion of the Battle Barge.
Season 4 is set to introduce a Horde Mode, a new enemy, and a new weapon later in 2025. Meanwhile, new cosmetics themed around iconic Chapters will be made available through the Season Pass.
Today also marks the launch of Focus Together, a new community hub meant to bridge the distance between players and developers. Here, fans will be able to share their feedback directly with the developers of Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 and other games published by Focus.
As a reminder, Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 will launch on September 9 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
