VRChat is Being Review Bombed
VRChat is a popular virtual world platform that lets players interact in a 3D environment. As the name suggests, users create 3D avatars and connect with other humans in virtual reality. VRChat also comes with a Desktop Mode for fans who want to use a mouse and a keyboard instead of a VR headset.
VRChat has recently come under fire for banning mods and implementing Easy Anti-Cheat. According to the developers, the main purpose of this update was to combat “malicious modified clients” used to harass players. On July 26, they commented on the negative feedback received regarding this update but stated that they don’t have any plans to revert it. The post then discussed the steps the development team will take to address players’ concerns, with accessibility being a priority. However, it seems like fans are not fully convinced by this answer and are sharing their frustrations by posting negative reviews.

Many gamers claim that Easy Anti-Cheat lowers the performance and makes it more prone to stability issues. Additionally, it looks like players were using many quality-of-life and accessibility mods which are also stopped by this update.
