The star wasn’t there in person, but Vin Diesel made an impact during the Xbox and Bethesda Game Showcase as part of a new trailer for . The sequel to the smash survival game shows off its collaboration with Vin in its first debut, but the star looks even more at home riding atop a T-Rex while adorned in caveman garb.
looks to iterate on many of the survival game elements that swept the industry by storm when the original topped the genre. The story takes place after the events of Genesis: Part 2, one of a number of paid DLC for the original game. Vin’s character is a clone of the character from the original game, and everyone will learn more about him when he appears in the upcoming animated series later this year.
As for the game itself, this trailer confirmed a delay into 2023 to the masses, but the media crossover should tie over fans until then. Unlike many of today’s trailers, was a cinematic look at the game, so any upgrades and additions are still just rumors.
The game is confirmed for a launch on Xbox Game Pass, as well as console exclusivity on Series X|S. PlayStation owners will have to play on PC or wait a bit to get their dino on.
