Valorant's newest update adds a whole host of balance tweaks and bug fixes, but the biggest addition is a self-moderation feature - being able to mute any word you want.
If you go into settings, you can now add a word or phrase that you don't want to see in your game. Essentially, you can moderate slurs or toxic language that you want to avoid in chat, having it automatically filtered. Not only will this let you avoid certain keywords in your own chat, but it will help developer Riot to improve its own list by pooling together the language that users censor most. However, it stressed that it won't ban the term 'League of Legends' no matter how hard players try.

Aside from toxicity, it could even help to stop spoilers spreading in chat for the latest games or films. Take Spider-Man: No Way Home. Jumping into a lobby to find out that a certain character dies would be a bit of a buzzkill, but now you can mute keywords like you can on Twitter.
As for the tweaks and fixes, the ARES' price has been increased from 1,550 to 1,600 with a pitch recoil increase to boot. Its spread has also been changed from .8 to .7 after ten bullets are fired. The crouch benefits for spread and recoil have also been reduced from 40 percent to 25.
Riot even admitted that melee is too tricky to aim with, so it's enlarged the hitboxes and upped the range, making it slightly easier to nick someone with your knife.
