A Pokémon Legends: Arceus player has recently uncovered a unique, stress-free method of catching one of the game's Unowns. Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the latest entry in the long-running Nintendo franchise and has set itself apart from previous entries by allowing players to catch Pokémon outside of battles.
Pokémon has been a staple in mainstream gaming since the early days of the Nintendo Game Boy. In these massively popular games, players are tasked with catching and training countless unique creatures, typically in an effort to halt the progress of some insidious organization. Although dozens of Pokémon games have been released over the years and the IP is one of the most profitable of all time, most of the changes between each entry have been surprisingly minuscule and shallow. The core turn-based combat gameplay of these games has remained mostly unchanged since the first release in 1996. With Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the legendary video game franchise aimed to shake things up by adopting a more modern open-world structure and allowing players to throw Pokéballs at Pokémon in real-time as they roam throughout the environment, rather than simply selecting that option via a menu as is the series custom.
