An upcoming Diablo 4 update for PC and consoles will nerf high survivability builds, Blizzard has confirmed.
Following yesterday's new PC patch and a hotfix the day before that, the Diablo 4 development team has now promised a new patch across all platforms which will address an issue where players can survive unreasonably high amounts of damage for long periods of time. According to Blizzard, patch notes for this new client patch will be shared as soon as the patch is live, but the team wanted to give players a heads-up first.
"We wanted to give everyone a heads up that in the next few hours we will be rolling out a client patch that will bring some balance changes which will be addressing situations where players can survive unreasonably high amounts of damage for long periods of time", the post from community manager Adam Fletcher (@PezRadar) on the official Blizzard forum reads.
He added, "Because there is a new update and we have players playing in hardcore, we want to make sure you all are given a heads up regarding these changes beforehand."

In other Diablo 4-related news - the team has also said that it is aware of some apparent multiplayer issues following the launch of early access this weekend. One of these issues is an annoying progression issue in the second act during "As the World Burns". As reported on the Blizzard forums, some players are being locked out from completing this quest when this quest was started in a group. The development team has promised a fix for this issue.
