June 10 will be a big day for Ubisoft, as the major triple-A publisher will be holding a new Ubisoft Forward livestream that day – around the same time as Summer Game Fest. With the once-prominent E3 not returning for the foreseeable future, it will fall to similar events like Summer Game Fest to serve as a showcase for upcoming video games from publishers like Ubisoft in 2024 and beyond. Certain companies have even started hosting their own shows throughout the year, with Sony supposedly holding a PlayStation Showcase centered around Silent Hill 2 and other first-party titles sometime next month.
As for Ubisoft, it held its last Ubisoft Forward livestream event back in June. It highlighted many of the publisher’s plans for the remainder of 2023 going into 2024 by giving release dates to then-upcoming titles like Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, showing off gameplay footage for Star Wars Outlawsand Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and offering more insight into projects like Assassin’s Creed Jade.
Now gamers are being advised to mark their calendars for June 10, as Ubisoft has just announced that its next Ubisoft Forward livestream will be held on that date. Not much else was shared on the official Ubisoft Twitter announcement post, but it is worth noting that this new Ubisoft Forward will come shortly after this year’s Summer Game Fest, which is being held on June 7 at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.
As for what fans can expect during this upcoming Ubisoft Forward event, there are plenty of possibilities. Star Wars Outlaws has yet to receive an official release date as of this writing, and there are plenty of unconfirmed rumors surrounding Assassin’s Creed Red, an upcoming spin-off reportedly set in feudal Japan. Recent rumors have also suggested that Dead Cells developer Evil Empire is working on a new Prince of Persia title that could be released sometime later this year.
More information about these games could be revealed during the next Ubisoft Forward,
