After first revealing some of the very first Sonic games would be bundled together as part of a collection called Sonic Origins, Sega didn't say much else about when or what to expect from it. That was until yesterday when it dropped the first full trailer for the game which included its release date and a slew of new details. However, information discovered after the fact regarding Origins' DLC has left those who plan on buying the game a little perplexed.
Odds are many of you reading this will have seen the overly complicated table detailing what exactly is included where depending on the version of Origins you buy and the DLC you opt for. Deemed unnecessarily complex by many, Devolver Digital decided to have a little fun with it. The studio has a game of its own launching very soon in the form of Trek To Yomi. “Our marketing department created a handy guide for preordering Trek to Yomi. Please use it to navigate your path to purchase,” Devolver tweeted. With that tweet, the studio included a table with each version of Trek To Yomi along the top and some rather amusing options down the left-hand side. All players, regardless of the platform on which they buy the upcoming samurai game, will get the base game, stunning visuals, and full credits at the end.
The one thing about the table that some who plan on picking up Trek To Yomi might not have known about prior to this amusing jab is the discount.
