Bus Simulator 21 is getting a massive expansion and a free PS5 upgrade from 16th May, and it’s kickstarting a season of pretty robust post-release support from German developer Astragon. Things get underway as early as next week, with the Ebusco update, which includes three new electric-powered buses, and you can check those out in the trailer above.
But if you stump up for the Season Pass, there’s a lot more to look forward to. An official school bus extension is coming in a few months, alongside officially licensed Thomas Built Buses, which is neat. Then later in the year, the game’s getting a full-blown tram extension, which should pull you away from last week’s TramSim: Console Edition.
As far as post-release support for a game like Bus Simulator 21 goes, this is looking pretty promising to us – there’s plenty of new gameplay possibilities here, and we’re particularly excited to see how the aforementioned trams are implemented. We’ll bring you a full review of the next-gen version of the game as soon as possible.
