Despite the extended wait, the anticipation for the film never really died down. Paramount has done a good job marketing the film, highlighting its story and incredible production process. That coupled with the long-time fans' anticipation for the blockbuster has everyone eagerly anticipating the upcoming movie. As its premiere inches near, more details regarding what to expect from the Top Gun sequel emerge, including a description of a«sensitive scene» involving Iceman and Maverick.

Speaking with ET Online, Teller teases an emotional moment shared by TOPGUN batchmates in Top Gun: Maverick. Understandably, the actor cannot get into details about what fully goes down in the scene, but he promises that it will hit fans «right in the feels.» Read his full quote below:
It's a really sensitive scene. Its a sensitive kind of narrative, when you're bringing Val back and having a scene with [his character], Iceman. There’s one particular scene between Val and Tom that just, man, [hits you] right in the feels."
