Top Gun: Maverick gets a brand new cinematic poster by 4DX, Screen Rant can exclusively reveal. The much anticipated sequel to 1986's action hit had its theatrical release delayed during the pandemic and finally arrives in both the 4DX and ScreenX formats on May 27.
Paramount Pictures, showing mighty confidence in the Tom Cruise starrer, brought Top Gun: Maverick to screen in full at CinemaCon last week — the biggest and most important gathering of movie theater owners from around the world — and the reactions couldn't be more positive.

If there were a film to see on the biggest of screens and in the most dynamic of formats (4DX), Top Gun: Maverick is the one. Critical responses so far overwhelmingly praise not just the groundbreaking practical aerial stunts and the visual style from director Joseph Kosinski (TRON: Legacy, Oblivion) but also the heart emotional weight of the followup as well, with notable performances from the newer, younger cast members Miles Teller, Lewis Pullman, Monica Barbaro, Glen Powell, Manny Jacinto, Jay Ellis, and Danny Ramirez who are joined by Jennifer Connelly, Val Kilmer, Jon Hamm, and Ed Harris alongside Cruise.
