A new video from The Late Late Show with James Corden sees the host terrified by a real fighter jet experience with Top Gun: Maverick star Tom Cruise. The actor has been promoting the new sequel to 1986's Top Gun, which helped launch him into superstardom alongside a cast that included Val Kilmer, Tim Robbins, Kelly McGillis, Anthony Edwards, and Meg Ryan. The sequel also features several new faces in the cast, including Miles Teller, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Connelly, Monica Barbaro, Glen Powell, and Jay Ellis.

While Corden ultimately admitted that it was a rush, he seemed content not to ever jump out of a plane again. However, Cruise appears to have found a new way to scare the late-night talk show host.
