The lavish lifestyles of Chrisley Knows Best patriarch and matriarch Todd and Julie Chrisley will be on pause while they await their sentencing after being found guilty of fraud and tax evasion. Todd and his wife, Julie, were indicted on 12 counts of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud, and conspiracy in 2019 after the pair's former employee Mark Braddock claimed they were involved in fraud. Todd and Mark used to have a good relationship until 2012, when the former reportedly threw the latter out of his office and threatened to call the police on him.
Following Todd's action, Mark came out about his and Todd's alleged affair before turning the Chrisleys in to the FBI for tax fraud. In Mark's testimony, he confessed to his role in the Chrisleys' years-long fraud. Since Mark's confession, Todd, 53, and Julie, 49, have been in and out of court. Todd denied the claims in a lengthy statement, noting that his former employee was seeking revenge. However, Todd's statement did not stop the investigations that culminated in him and Julie being found guilty on all counts.
