Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge's upcoming Dimension Shellshock DLC is actually a survival mode that takes you across different dimensions and lets you play as some of the game's villains through a new mutation system.
Earlier this month, TheGamer had the chance to speak to Frederic Gemus, lead designer on Shredder's Revenge, to talk about Dimension Shellshock, the recently-revealed DLC pack that adds Usagi Yojimbo among a host of new features. During that interview, we found out that Dimension Shellshock is actually a new game mode rather than a level expansion, something that's now been fully detailed with a new trailer.

As it turns out, Dimension Shellshock is actually a new survival mode for Shredder's Revenge that takes players across different dimensions as they defeat wave after wave of enemies. As the player fights more waves, they're able to collect crystal shared in order to assemble "dimension crystals", which can be used to go up against Shredder once enough have been collected. Players will also have to compete with "extreme conditions" across over 100 combat challenges, such as strong gusts of wind and moments where there's no gravity.
If the player manages to beat Shredder, they'll then be able to keep fighting enemies to try and top the leaderboards. That's not all, though, as defeating a round of enemies will reward the player with the choice between two rewards, which can contain a pizza for health, more crystal shards, or canisters of ooze that give the player specific powerups, such as being able to double your damage, make yourself faster, or even turn into a boss character for some
