Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, Gearbox's Borderlands-inspired looter shooter, has exceeded expectations. Sales for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands are higher than predicted and Borderlands fans are already hoping Gearbox is inspired to be just as experimental with future games. That doesn't mean that Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is exempt from issues, however. Just recently Gearbox issued an update that could potentially remove all story progress for players. In a quick turnaround, Gearbox has issued a fix for the Tiny Tina's Wonderlands progression issue — and a reward of free Skeleton Keys, too.
Update 1.0.3.0A for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands went live on Friday, addressing dozens of balance issues and bug fixes. The bug would reset all story progression for players, including a full map reset removing all fast travel unlocks. To be fair, this is an issue seen before in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, but the latest update appears to have impacted substantially more of the player base. That same day, Gearbox acknowledged the issue and confirmed it was working on a fix.
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Reveals Glutton's Gamble DLC
It would take a full day for Gearbox to complete the fix necessary to solve the Tiny Tina's Wonderlands progression bug. A message shared on Twitter confirmed that the fix went out Friday evening around 5:30 PM PT/8:30 PM ET. It should be available now and those impacted by the bug previously should find that their save files have been fully recovered. No progression should be lost anymore.
Players should be aware, however, that there are some reports of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands players encountering a «blank inventory» bug after downloading the fix. Gearbox has responded to this, too, saying that Xbox users should have two updates, one
