Another look at The Predator is glimpsed in the latest trailer for Prey. Prey takes place nearly 300 years before the first Predator film and follows a young Comanche woman named Naru who goes head-to-head with the mysterious and dangerous hunter from another world as she struggles to be accepted as a hunter within her tribe. Directed by 10 Cloverfield Lane's Dan Trachtenberg, Prey is the first Predator prequel project taking place outside of modern-day times.
Prey hosts a cast of mostly Indigenous American and First Nation talent, including Amber Midthunder (Legion, Roswell, New Mexico) as the lead, Naru, Dakota Beavers, Stormee Kipp, Michelle Thrush, and Julian Black Antelope. The film's creature is played by Dane DiLiegro, who recently played Ba'al in American Horror Story. Prey is the first feature script from Patrick Aison, known for his work on Prime Video's Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan and Treadstone.

New footage of the Predator can be spotted in the latest trailer for Prey (via 20th Century Studios), which shows the creature in silhouette inside what appears to be a bear cave. In addition to that shot, the Predator can be seen in its signature camouflage, extending its blade gauntlet while squaring off with a wolf. Interestingly, the disruption pattern on the camouflage is more fire-like than electrical, as has been seen in other iterations of the character. The trailer also features new dialogue and shots of Midthunder's Naru, who appears to be tracking the Predator by way of its glowing-green blood. Take a look at the trailer below:
