Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands might have just been released last month, but Gearbox is already announcing DLC for its newest game. The additional content for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands got a new trailer on Tuesday that showed off some new enemies and missions that are all available immediately.
While Wonderlands didn’t have the best reviews out there, it appears that hasn’t derailed its developer from making sure there is plenty to see and do in the title’s game world. Released on March 25, the game takes the basic gameplay approach of the Borderlands franchise and tweaks it by placing players inside a game world that is meant to appear quite a bit like a round of Dungeons & Dragons. Instead of vault hunting, users are guided on a medieval-themed adventure by the narrator, Tiny Tina.

“Coiled Captors” is part of the “Mirrors of Mystery” series of additional lands that players can take their adventurers to while hacking, slashing, and shooting enemies galore. Anyone who has the Season Pass can play this first piece of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands DLC which includes five levels to play through.
The new video shows that Coiled Captors features the story of freeing some kind of ancient god, though it doesn’t say a great deal about which god or why. There are also new serpent-like enemies in the new Wonderlands DLC that do look evocative of something players might see in a D&D game. There is also a brand-new boss named “Chums” that players will have to go up against in order to finish the new content.
