The Time Team in Timeless were not the ones to take out Rittenhouse. Timeless was a sci-fi show that aired on NBC from 2016 to 2018, ending with a 2-part Christmas special. The show follows the adventures of Lucy Preston, Wyatt Logan, Rufus Carlin, and Garcia Flynn, also known as the Time Team, as they travel through time to try and stop Rittenhouse, an institution dedicated to controlling the fate of the future from behind the scenes.
In Timeless season 1, the Time Team only consisted of Lucy, Wyatt, and Rufus, and they used their time machine, the Lifeboat, to track down Flynn, who was using the mothership. Flynn was attempting to change the past so he could eradicate Rittenhouse from history and save his family from being murdered. In Timeless season 2, Flynn joins the Time Team in preventing Rittenhouse from changing history to better suit the kind of world they can control. In the series finale, Rittenhouse has been destroyed, with its members either dead or arrested.
