Most notably, some major quality-of-life changes are coming that will completely change the way you play.
In addition to the new characters, Tales of Agrabah will include several other features that are focused less on new content and more on making a play session more seamless. This includes items that help speed up the cooking process, changes to the UI in several areas, and even an exciting new feature in the premium shop.
There is one feature that has been one of the most highly requested additions to since it launched, and it has finally arrived. The ability to search for a recipe is something that only grew increasingly necessary as different events and the expansions were added. Before this addition, slowly scrolling through a list of all the recipes was tedious and lengthened the cooking process significantly.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is bringing Aladdin's flying carpet in the upcoming Tales of Agrabah update, but there might be more to the carpet.
While it could be broken down into categories such as appetizer or entrée, it was occasionally hard to know which section a meal might fall into if it wasn't something obvious, which meant that instead of decreasing the amount of time spent searching, the categories could double it if you accidentally scrolled through the wrong one. Additionally, there was no way to know if you were missing a recipe until you scrolled all the way through to check or scrolled through your recipe list in the main menu.
In addition to the appetizer, entrée, and dessert categories on the recipe menu, players will now also be able to sort by Quest and Restaurant Order, so you no longer need to memorize what recipes you were preparing.
