The winners of Love Island UK season 8 have been revealed, and the victorious couple won in a landslide. The British dating series returned in early June. The latest season was a smash success, with the highest Love Island UK ratings in years. As with previous seasons, the competition series aired daily episodes on ITV2 for eight weeks.
For U.S. viewers, episodes became available to stream on Hulu two weeks later. The recently wrapped 2022 season brought a brand-new villa and high ratings, but also plenty of controversies throughout all eight weeks. Now, the sun has set on the Love Island villa, and one pair left with the 50K-pound grand prize.

The Love Island UK season 8 finale aired live on ITV2 Monday, August 1. Final vote percentages came in the following day, as reported by Metro UK. Viewers continued casting their votes for favorite couple until about halfway through Monday's episode. Host Laura Whitmore then revealed the finalists' ranking. Love Island fashion icon Tasha Ghouri and boyfriend Andrew Le Page came in fourth place, while Dami Hope and Indiya Pollack got third. This left Luca Bish and Gemma Owen alongside Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti. After much anticipation, Laura announced the 2022 winners, with Ekin-Su and Davide emerging triumphant. Once the finale's voting figures came in, it was revealed the two 27-year-olds won in a landslide.
The self-professed «Turkish Delight» Ekin and «Italian Stallion» Davide received a whopping 63.69% of the votes. Runners-up Luca and Gemma trailed far behind, earning just 14.47%. The couples known as «Damiyah» and «Tandrew» came very close, earning 11.77% and 10.7%,
