In order to break down the massive piles of rubble that block the way down to the Beachside or unlock shortcuts, players will need to buy a Prospector's Gear and then interact with the rubble. While there are a couple of Gears in different chests, there are not enough to break down all the piles that Hank will come across.

At least two Prospector's Gears can be found in Pinefall; one is in a chest next to one of Hank's B&Bs. A great tip for new players to Bear and Breakfast is to check every nook and cranny of the forest for hidden materials and chests. After finding the hidden ones in Pinefall, Hank will have to buy all the rest of the Prospector's Gear that he needs.
