ArtStation Magazine recently published a new Art Blast focused on the visuals for The War Within. The feature highlights several Blizzard artists responsible for crafting the visuals of the first chapter in the Worldsoul Saga.
Today, we're highlighting Senior Visual Development Artist, Catarina Pulli and their work on Hallowfall, Beledar, and the culture of the Arathi tribe. Pulli previously worked on the visual development of the architecture and culture of the Loamm Niffen of Dragonflight.

Seated within the Hallowfall cavern ceiling rests Beledar, an immense shifting crystal that provides the light and warmth required for the lush climate and rich vegetation reminiscent of Azeroth's surface. Early concepts explore the different versions of Beledar both Light and Void as well as how this mysterious crystal is able to produce the clouded skyscape of Hallowfall.
After remnants of their armada were nearly destroyed by a treacherous storm, the Hallowfall Expedition of the Arathi were saved and transported to the caverns of Khaz Algar by the light of Beledar. With their faith in the Sacred Flame, they now protect the light of Beledar from the Kobyss and Nerubians.
