Independent fantasy MMORPG The Quinfall now has a closed beta start date in sight. Developer Vawraek announced that the first players in their planned closed beta tests will begin their journeys on January 30, 2024.
The Quinfall beta will be released on Steam, with the first phase invited for the January 30th start going out to selected players. In making the announcement on Discord, the team acknowledged the wait for news on when they might begin playtests, and expressed gratitude for their continued support.
“Since our previous announcements, we have been extremely happy to see that a large audience has been waiting and showing interest in the Quinfall project. We are proud to be involved in a project that MMORPG players show such a great interest and excitement. At this point, we are grateful to everyone for their interest and patience.”
While the initial group will be those “selected players”, things will progress fairly rapidly. “Let us remind you again that Closed Beta processes will take place in short periods. So, shortly after 30 January, all our players are planned to experience the game,” they added. Looks like closed beta will happen in short test phases, but with the option open to many of those interested.
Vawraek also announced that we should be seeing many more peeks at their work on The Quinfall. Gameplay videos featuring the team and an overview, along with detailed wiki updates, and more, are set to start rolling out “in the near future”.
