The Quarry: How To Get The Family Matters Achievement / Trophy
As the story of The Quarry progresses, more information about the reclusive Hackett family comes to light. By the end of the game, one or more of the Hacketts will have met their end. If all seven are killed in a single playthrough, the player will earn the Family Matters Achievement / Trophy.

Eliminating all the Hacketts requires some sacrifices, as finishing them off will cause the deaths of at least one playable character. If any members of this creepy clan have proven impossible for you to take down, follow this guide on your next playthrough.

Kaylee is the first Hackett casualty in the game, and her death is both pre-scripted and unavoidable. At the end of Chapter Five, Kaylee attacks the counselors in her werewolf form. Thinking that the beast is Chris, Laura shoots her with silver in an attempt to end Max's curse. The gang finds Kaylee's body in the pool, where Ryan identifies her.

The monstrous matriarch can be killed shortly after she catches Laura at the end of Chapter Eight. At the beginning of Chapter Nine, Constance will turn the lights out and attempt to take Laura's shotgun. If you succeed at the ensuing button-mashing challenge, the gun will go in Constance's face, killing her instantly.

After Laura kills Constance, evade Jedediah and dodge his attacks until Laura is forced to fight him upstairs from the piano room. Succeed at all the quick-time events until you have the option to attack or flee. Attack Jedediah and succeed at the subsequent input challenges and Laura will finish him off.
