By the time you reach the Rooftops in The Pedestrian, you've got a good handle on the game's systems. The moment you step off the train for the final time, though, nothing will be the same until you complete your journey. The first puzzle you encounter after getting off the train introduces the green paint mechanic. The game doesn't clearly explain how it works. When a sign is painted, changing a connection that resets the puzzle will not reset anything inside that sign, including the Pedestrian.

After the water tower, you'll climb down a ladder to reach a sign suspended from a crane. Unlike the previous hubs, this one requires you to get the key first before you can search for the other components.
