Although this quest varies depending on your alignment, the prerequisite quests will remain the same. Below, you can check out the quests you will need to complete before accepting Prophet.
To accept the quest, you will need to meet with the following people.
Once you spoke with Harkon as a vampire, you will need to listen to his speech about ending the sun's tyranny. After this strange speech, he will tell you to locate a Moth Priest to read the Elder Scrolls.
Rather than speaking with Harkon, you will speak with Isran if you are a member of the Dawnguard. Here, he will talk with you and Serana. Serana will inform the two of you about Harkon's plans, and that he needs to be stopped. To do so, you will need to locate and rescue the Moth Priest as well.
To find the priest, you can ask a carriage driver that can be found outside any city. He will have information on the priest's whereabouts, but you will need to either persuade or bribe him to gain it. If successful, the carriage driver will tell you that he took the priest to Dragon Bridge.
