The Owl House hiatus is almost over! This past weekend creator Dana Terrace confirmed that the animated show will return to Disney Channel on March 19 alongside Amphibia for the second half of their respective seasons. We received this news through a cable leak as opposed to a trailer or official announcement, meaning both showrunners were forced to react suddenly on Twitter with a mixture of fun doodles and gifs.

Viewers have coped with its absence through a mixture of fanart, theories, and picking apart every little slither of information that emerges from the production crew. It’s been a tough few months for gay disasters the world over, but we got through it.
