Adult Swim responds to fans who have been wondering if Rick and Morty season 6 is ever going to release. Created by Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, Rick and Morty has remained a fixture of the Adult Swim lineup ever since its debut in 2013. Rick and Morty season 5 concluded last year, setting up even more adventures for the titular duo.
Rick and Morty follows super-genius scientist Rick Sanchez and his dimwitted grandson Morty Smith as they go on various adventures through the cosmos. Loosely inspired by the dynamic between Doc Brown and Marty McFly in the Back to the Future franchise, Rick and Morty has become one of Adult Swim’s most popular series, developing a massive fanbase in the process. The most recent season debuted in 2021, with its conclusion closing out some of Rick and Morty’s longest-running storylines and promising some major changes for the series going forward. Since then, however, there's been little news about when the show would return with season 6.
