Since the multiplayer of Halo Infinite first launched near the end of last year, the game has enjoyed a massive amount of success. With new content for the multiplayer releasing on a semi-regular basis and new game modes releasing later this year, Halo Infinite certainly has a lot to offer its player base. However, there have been ongoing issues with desyncronization during gameplay and a recent clip perfectly highlights said issues.
Desyncing is an issue that can often occur during online multiplayer games. Essentially, a desync is when something that's happening on a player's screen looks completely different from what's happening, or rather what should be happening, in-game. While 343 Industries' developers have acknowledged the issues with desyncing in Halo Infinite, numerous desync instances have continued to occur to players. This latest gameplay footage shows the kind of irritation that can arise from a desync.

A Reddit user named Simpoge39 posted a brief gameplay clip that shows the player trying to kill another player with a rocket launcher in a multiplayer match. The enemy player takes two hits with the rocket launcher and manages to not only survive, but kill the opposing player. This footage perfectly encapsulates just how bad the desync issues with Halo Infinite have gotten.
It would be one thing if the opposing player had an overshield attached, but the fact that the player survives not one, but two rocket launcher shots more than proves how much the desync issues negatively affect active gameplay. Thus, it's important for 343 Industries to address these issues as quickly as possible.
