A historically reliable source claims the Nintendo Switch 2 could be officially revealed as soon as this week. With the 2024 holiday season come and gone, Switch 2 rumors have reached a fever pitch. Many players are insistent that the console is coming out this year, and while Nintendo hasn't confirmed anything about the hardware or its release date, it did confirm that more information about the Switch 2 will be made available before the current fiscal year. That gives us a deadline of Summer 2025, but one leaker suggests the Switch 2 news could be coming a lot sooner.
Speaking on his podcast, often reliable leaker Nate The Hate suggested that the Switch 2 might be revealed in a surprise presentation by Nintendo on January 16 — just four days away at the time of writing. Nate also claims that the initial reveal won't include any games, and will specifically focus on the console's hardware.
