The Epic Games Store’s next free title has been announced.
Doors: Paradox will be free to claim on Epic’s PC marketplace from February 1-8.
It’s billed as “a relaxing puzzle escape game” from developer Big Loop Studios and publisher Snapbreak Games.
“Make your way through a variety of hand-crafted 3D dioramas, look for useful objects, find hidden clues and solve fun puzzles! Unravel this mysterious adventure about chaos, order and the surreal.”
Doors: Paradox will replace puzzle game Infinifactory, which is now free to claim until February 1.
“Infinifactory is a sandbox puzzle game by Zachtronics, the creators of SpaceChem and Infiniminer,” according to its Epic Games Store listing. “Build factories that assemble products for your alien overlords, and try not to die in the process.”
Harmonix ended eight years of weekly Rock Band 4 DLC updates on January 25, although all other live services for the game will continue as normal.
Since being acquired by Epic in 2021, Harmonix has been focused on its new free-to-play music game Fortnite Festival, which was released last month.
“If you are a fan of the rhythm game category, Fortnite Festival is the place to be; and with support for RB4 instruments coming, this is not the time to hang up your guitars just yet,” said Epic Games senior product manager Daniel Sussman.
