The Epic Games Store’s next free title has been announced.
Godlike Burger will be free to claim from Epic’s PC marketplace from October 5-12.
According to its Epic Games Store listing, “Godlike Burger puts you in the shoes of a maniac chef who makes the best burgers in the universe. The secret ingredient? The customers themselves! Run the restaurant, cook delicious burgers and kill lots of aliens. But be careful – leave no witnesses uncooked!”
Godlike Burger will replace Model Builder and Soulstice, which are now free to claim until October 5.
The former is a simulation game that lets players cut out, assemble, paint and customise models, while the latter offers “a coming-of-age dark fantasy story with fast-paced action, vicious enemies, and spectacular boss fights”.
Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney said in March that players should expect to see further high-profile Epic Games Store exclusives in the future.
And last month the Fortnite maker announced a new Epic Games Store exclusivity scheme.
The Epic First Run programme allows developers of any size to claim 100% of revenue if they agree to make their game exclusive on the Epic Games Store for six months.
After the six months are up, the game will revert to the standard Epic Games Store revenue split of 88% for the developer and 12% for Epic.
Epic announced this week that it plans to increase the price of Fortnite V-Bucks and some real money content packs in a number of countries in October.
