The Mounts of The War Within - 36 New Mounts to Collect
War Within adds many new mounts, a total of 36 new mounts available to collect, plus a couple more for promotions and Trading Post. Let's check out what mounts you can get with the expansion launch.
Mount Highlights
As with every expansion, we have a healthy mix of activities that reward mounts. The biggest highlight comes from the new raid, Nerub-ar Palace, which starts the expansion on the right foot, adding both a random drop chance mount AND a Mythic-only mount from Queen Ansurek, Reins of the Sureki Skyrazor and Reins of the Ascendant Skyrazor respectively. This gives players plenty of time to far these mounts throughout the expansion, plus Mythic Queen Ansurek will be easier as patches go by.
Another highlight is Renown. Each of the four main renown factions for The War Within adds two mounts, one in the late tens and another at Renown 23. However, The Severed Threads adds five total, it's regular two and another three, one for each of its Pacts. Pacts are «sub-factions,» similar to what we had in Nazj'atar, where we'd need to pick one friend to help each day.
And finally… Bees. We get bees! Well, fire bess. And moles.
