Warning! Spoilers ahead for The Book of Boba Fett episode 5.
While Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) from The Mandalorian made some references to The Phantom Menace in The Book of Boba Fett episode 5, he also paid off one of the most hilarious jokes from Adult Swim's third Robot Chicken: Star Wars parody special. Featuring an N-1 Naboo Starfighter, the Boonta Eve podracing track, and more Easter eggs referencing the first (chronological) episode in the Skywalker Saga, Djarin also used a classic piece of Star Wars slang that was only used once in the entire continuity of the galaxy far, far away. As such, the term became a great punchline for a hilarious sketch featuring the inner monologue of Darth Vader before he defeated the Emperor in Return of the Jedi.
Created by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, Robot Chicken is Adult Swim's longest-running series ever comprised of various comedy sketches and parodies using stop-motion animation. From 2007-2010, Robot Chicken aired three specials dedicated to Star Wars in partnership with Lucasfilm, notably featuring the voice talents of George Lucas, Mark Hamill, and Family Guy's Seth Macfarlane for the voice of Emperor Palpatine. In the final 2010 special, a sketch entitled «Inner Monologues» comically imagines what The Emperor, Luke Skywalker, and Darth Vader are all thinking while Luke is being electrocuted by Palpatine. In Vader's case, he asks himself "How come nobody says 'wizard' anymore?" This was in reference to The Phantom Menace when young Anakin was preparing for his podrace and his friend Kitster expresses his excitement, saying how «wizard» it was that Anakin had entered the race.
