Warning: SPOILERS ahead for The Book of Boba Fett episode 6.
In The Book of Boba Fett episode 6, there's a shocking link to Star Wars: The Last Jedi that makes the fall of Luke Skywalker's Jedi academy even more tragic. While perhaps the most surprising thing about The Book of Boba Fett is how little the titular character is actually featured, the show's Dave Filoni-directed episode 6 was an emotional and expansive addition to the galaxy far, far away. The episode largely followed Din Djarin as he visited Grogu, who was revealed to be in the midst of Jedi training under the tutelage of Luke Skywalker.

While each scene featuring Luke and Grogu was delightful, the episode reinforced just how tragic the eventual destruction of Luke's Jedi academy really was.
